Hits And Misses

Stuff that I learnt/observed over the weekend:

• Rural India is absolutely gorgeous but some people you come across ruin the taste in your mouth, especially in places such as Jharkhand, where men see ALL females as objects of sex. While some are slightly "classy" and not so direct, all others are completely in-your-face about it!
• My bandmates are like my family, shotti shotti! I feel terribly heartbroken at the mere thought of Black Ninja quitting the band. Dude, it's not funny how significant he is in my life right now!
• Most people who talk big are all talk at the end of the day, they never actually *do* any of the things that they say.
• The truth gets you nowhere with your parents. Au contraire, lie and come up with the most absurd excuse/s that you can think of and they believe you at the drop of a hat!
• Not sleeping at all for long periods of time makes you an insomniac. But drifting in and out of sleep makes you all disillusioned. I'm still feeling very exhausted and very lost actually.
• Some people are just plain chutiyas, no matter how nice you are to them, they never change. Moral of the story: being nice gets you nowhere.
• Love is not overrated. It keeps the passion in me alive.
• A good 9 hours on the road can turn out to be the experience of a lifetime if you're with your best bud. BUT when you have to deal with a psychotic, know-it- all, Bhojpuri-song-loving driver for two hours or so, the bad time tends to overshadow the good!

So anyhoo, I wasn't intending to write such a small post, but I WILL end this here. I need to go and sleep, my brain has shut down. Gaaaaaahhh!!!!
